- Galvanized carbon stainless-steel strapping resists rust and corrosion from occasional contact with fresh water. It secures pallets or items for transport and can be used to bundle pipes or insulation. It has medium strength and will not pull apart or tear.
- Stainless steel strapping coils and bands are used indoors and outdoors where long exposures to high humidity and moisture can cause standard steel banding to rust. Solid stainless steel construction means that the strapping continues to resist rust and corrosion even when the surface is scratched or marred. It withstands attack from chemicals, humidity, moisture, and changes in temperature caused by exposure to the outdoors. It is used in manufacturing, water and wastewater facilities, and other plants and facilities that experience high humidity or exposure to water. Apply them using manual strapping tools or a strapping machine.
