Metabo tool batteries of any series fit Metabo cordless tools of the same voltage. For example, an 18V tool can use an 18V LiHD series battery or 18V Li-Power series battery. LiHD series batteries are more compact and provide more power than Li-Power series batteries, so they’re used for more demanding applications such as grinding, sawing, and impact drilling and driving.
